If you have been following our recent events around Shogi, then you are in for a special treat:

Join us as our member Ben takes us into the mind of an advanced Shogi Player and walks us through concepts like "Shape", "Balance" and "Defense" of this fascinating game.

This is an interactive online session (we are using Google Meet) and active participation is encouraged :) 

Notes:

  1. Depending on the interest and the engagement of participants/Q&A we may follow up on this event with additional sessions to cover where we leave off!
  2. For absolute beginners, please first check out our introductory material [link] to be familiar with the basic moves and pieces.
  3. For this event, we also plan to make available additional study resources.
  4. We will be using an online board to showcase the ideas   
  5. For best experience and to continue studying on your own, you may want to explore platforms like lishogi or 81dojo
