• Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET): The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme seeks to enhance internationalization in Japan by promoting mutual understanding between Japan and other nations. Specifically the program aims to enhance foreign language education in Japan and to promote international exchange at the local level through fostering ties between Japanese and Canadian youth.
• Metro Edmonton Japanese Community School: The Metro Edmonton Japanese Community School was incorporated in Alberta on March 15,1977. The purpose is to teach Japanese language to Japanese children who are temporarily in the Edmonton area, as well as children who want to learn Japanese. Basic Japanese is needed as all the instruction is in Japanese. The school has been registered as an overseas Japanese education facility for Japanese children who are temporarily in the Edmonton area.
• Calgary Consulate General of Japan:The consulate general of Japan in Calgary. The consulate can help with visas, driver's licenses, and provide other services.
• Japan Exchange and Teaching Alumni Association of Northern Alberta (JETAANA): Association of JET alumni who have been in Japan under the program.

• Metro Edmonton Japanese Community School: エドモントン地区日本人コミュニティスクールはアルバータ州の規則にしたがって、1977年3月15日に創立されました。学校の目的は、エドモントン地区に短期滞在している日本人家庭の子女や日本語を学びたい子女を対象に主に日本語教育を行うことです。授業は日本語で行われているので、入学するには日本語が分かることが条件になっています。学校は海外子女のための補習校としての認可も受けています。
